These remarkable women diligently worked at digitizing our entire trove of land stewardship records, a task that began during the early days of the Pandemic.

CCF extends a huge thank you to Sherrie Burson and Laurie Gates, long-time members of the CCF, for completing a massive volunteer project at the Mayo House. These remarkable women diligently worked at digitizing our entire trove of land stewardship records, a task that began during the early days of the Pandemic.  They scanned each piece of paper contained within the records and assisted Julie, our Land Stewardship Director, in organizing these historical and important documents in digital files.  They completed the digitization of the backlog of documents in 2023 but continue adding new documents on an ongoing basis.

This task is neither glamorous nor especially exciting, but Sherrie and Laurie recognize how critical creating and maintaining these sorts of records are.  They always bring their "A" game to the table and weekly cheer to Mayo House!
