The Chatham Conservation Foundation is undertaking a plant identification project on its trails to bring awareness to the critical role that native plants play in our Cape Cod ecosystems and the risk that invasive species pose once introduced. As you walk along Frost Fish Creek’s 1-mile walking trail, you’ll find that plants have been tagged with their scientific names, common names, and native / non-native / invasive status.  Plant and tree tags will be added to the Mill Pond Overlook Trail later this year.
