Environmental Fair

 We strive to preserve open space that balances the protection of wildlife and the environment with greater public access.

CHATHAM COMMUNITY CENTER

Come join over thirty organizations and environmentally friendly businesses at our 2nd annual Environmental Fair.

 

With activities and information for all ages, the fair is a great family event on the front lawn of the Chatham Community Center. Come meet Native plant experts and buy some pollinator friendly plants from native plant nurseries, learn about recycling and talk with the Chatham Harvesters about eating local.

Sponsored by Cape Cod 5 Foundation, the Chatham Cultural Council, and the Chatham Women's Club.

    Earth Day Celebration

    Location: 

    Labyrinth, Chase Park

    Kick off Earth Day/Arbor Day Week with a reflection on all good things the Earth provides! (45 minutes)

    10:00 am - 4:00 pm

    Uncommon Thrift at St. Christopher's

    Location: 

    637C Main Street

    All proceeds support the work of CCF!

  • 11:00 am

    Tree & Daffodil Walk led by Friends of Sylvan Gardens

    Location: 

    Sylvan Gardens

    Join members of the Friends of Sylvan Gardens for a guided stroll along the paths of Sylvan Gardens to observe native trees and shrubs along with thousands of daffodils in bloom.

    Note: An additional walk will be held at 2:00pm! Register directly with Friends of Sylvan Gardens.

    Movie: Inundation District

    Location: 

    Chatham Orpheum Theater, 637 Main Street

    Screening followed by an in-person Q&A with director David Abel!

    Note: Free tickets limited to 2 per person.

    2:00 pm

    Webinar: Edible Native Plants

    Speaker: Russ Cohen, edible native plant specialist. He leads dozens of foraging walks every year throughout the Northeast.
